Sacked his agent so he can negotiate with Man Utd himself

That’s the second agent he’s sacked this year isn’t it?

Think it does come from the s*n, so pinch of salt and all that.
If true then sounds like he's lost his head a bit.

Feels like he mad a catastrophic financial error leaving our first contract offer on the table so long. Apparently a small pay rise on his 130k a week
At this point i feel a bit sorry for him. Feels like he needs to take a shitty contract with an escape clause to play his way to a good deal. The problem is his fitness and form being what it is he might end up in an even worse position next summer
I genuinely don't know what he was expecting. He hasn't got an agent problem. It's his fitness record and probably even more importantly his finishing

It's really hard to know what his line of thinking was.
Did he really think with his fitness record and his poor finishing he was going to get a dream move to a top club?
Whatever it was he's misread the situation and he's now in a tricky spot.
Who knows? it might work out for him in the end, but i just can't see where.

I think he may have just needed a fresh start somewhere and felt that way.
Not sure what he is ultimately aiming for, I would guess he'd want as big a club as possible with a chance to get some good match time even if he's not 1st choice.
I think he'll find a club around deadline day once things have shaken out a bit more.

Think he’s negotiating with Man Yoo. Would hate to see him there but oh well. Good luck to the lad (except against us as usual).

I reckon he was being tapped up by Newcastle as a replacement for Wilson but with the Isak situation signing DCL just isn’t a priority for them

Odd choice but probably his only one in the end. From a £150k pw contract offer from us to likely below that, at a newly promoted club with a horrible fanbase.
Good luck Dom.

Wonder how much he's on? Think it's best for both parties that he left us but in the end it seems like he might as well have just signed a contract with us in the summer unless we were seriously low balling him.
