Curious to understand where he thinks he's going to get a better offer. Injury prone and not prolific, not exactly the profile that real top clubs tend to actively scout. Sunderland made an ambitious play for former England striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
talkSPORT has been told the Black Cats were willing to offer Calvert-Lewin a move to the Stadium of Light after his release by Everton.
However, the 28-year-old is keen to keep his options open in the hope a club higher up the Premier League food chain comes in for him.
Calvert-Lewin's final season with the Toffees saw him score three goals in 26 league outings last term.

He is more likely to be a success somewhere where his starts will be more limited and he can be used for important minutes off the bench. He's also more likely to stay fit in a scenario like that and be surrounded by better players.

With the way Newcastle are going then it wouldn't be a surprise if they sell Isak, sign his replacement in the limited time left and get DCL in at the end of the window.
The problem there is that he's absolute shite when he's not getting a run of games. He needs minutes on the pitch to get momentum, but he's nowhere near prolific enough to get those minutes at a top side.
