I watch the way he shifts the ball quickly in limited space to create shooting opportunities and wonder if there’s something there. The turn the other night was brilliant and he hit a great shot with his weak foot too to force that near post save. He seems comfortable hitting it with either foot.

Maybe he’d be a bit more energized off the ball if his defensive responsibilities were in front of him setting the press rather than having to leg it back to support the full back constantly.

I don’t know. There’s something here. I hope he gets a chance under someone else because I agree that he’s not busy enough for Moyes and that Moyes has already made up his mind. It’s not a good developmental strategy to throw a player in sporadically and yank them / banish them if they don’t immediately perform.
Bloody hell, surely that's some over thinking.
If he doesn't work hard enough as a winger or wide midfielder, imagine him battling against premier league centre halves, winning headers and moving off the shoulder of defenders.
