Interested to see how Trafford does. I expect a lot of "he's the next England keeper" (he might well be) whenever he makes a save as the media do seem to love to glaze certain players, but I genuinely can't quite tell how good he is or isn't. He's been a bit of a mixed bag whenever I've seen him.

Trafford was weak as piss playing for burnley in the top flight. Think 40m is a huge risk

We spent £30m on Pickford after 1 season conceding goals for fun at Sunderland and finishing bottom, so it's just one of them wait and find out stuff. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up another Butland

Small, lightweight and error prone.

That's what I've seen from him so far, and £40m seems absolute madness.

Who knows though, the sample size seems so small that it's difficult to really predict anything about his future.

Must be something there for teams to want him so badly they'll pay top money, so I'm wondering if I've just not seen that yet, but will do now he'll be starting every week in the premier league?

This surprised me but according to his PL bio he’s 6’5”!!

He carries himself like he’s under 6ft. But he’s just a kid in goalkeeping terms

Maybe his mum wrote his bio & nobody bothered to check 😅

I always thought he seemed small…wonder how long his arms are though

I reckon John Stones makes less than 15 appearances for Inter. Nice little end of career gig for him there.

Not so sure to be honest. I think he might just rip it up over there. If you look at some of the great Italian players.down the years, electric pace is not the first.thing that springs to mind. It's quite a technical game in Serie A, and Stones is a baller. I think the slightly slower pace may really suit him.

I don't think anyone's questioning his ability, just if he can string backbone back games together
