Linked to lamptey in Jan as he’s a free agent next summer.

Get potter in when the new owners take over and:

Pickford
Jarrad Tark JOB
Lamptey Gana Garner Young
Harrison DCL Ndiaye

That team doesn’t have relegation written all over it.

See, anyone can say something that adds nothing to the conversation :)

One player different from our current 11.

At the risk of being accused of lowering expectations, probably not far from the truth.

I'm my opinion it does.
We've never seen JOB play, I'm assuming he's cack, and the rumours that we might look to offload in January kinda back that up. Ashley young as wingback, he's played better of late, but that's asking a hell of a lot for a 79 year old, that left hand side would be open season for every team from Division 2 up. Harrison produces the square root of fuck all, DCL doesn't score and then you're asking Gana and Garner to cover absolute miles in the midfield and control the game. As much as I like Gana he's barely better than Doucoure at passing and controlling the ball, so that should be fun
And finally, Lamptey is continually injured, there's be more chance of keeping Patterson fit

It’s more an idea of how the players could fit into a potter system rather than an ideal team. Lots of the players obviously have their limitations. I should have put Jarrad on the left tbh but I was very tired when typing it so:

Pickford
JOB Tark Jarrad
Patto Gana Mangala Young
Lindstrøm DCL Ndiaye

I agree on Lamptey because he’d just be playing more for them if he didn’t have injury issues but so does Patterson.

I think it could work. At least this way we could have one full back overlapping which would allow Ndiaye and Lindstrøm to cut inside into their supposed better positions. It can easily switch into a 4-3-3 to have a back 4 as it’s a system and not a formation

Young can’t play wing back anymore.

Carsley showing his qualities last night. Making some brave decisions and showing how silly it was for the media to write him off after one dodgy performance.

Would love to see him here, and I'm sure he'd take it.

He was my vote. He ticks the boxes with age, experience and understands the club. He says the future to me instead of a resuscitated has been. Every option is a gamble but he's highly rated by his players

Same.

Obviously very highly regarded in the game to have been given jobs at Brentford, city and the F.A.

Whoever takes the risk on him won’t regret it.
