the derby goal has faded in my memory and I’m back to declaring this clogger is an absolute donkey every time his name is mentioned.

Win's more aerial duels than any other defender in the prem and is a good leader on the pitch.
A limited player in other ways but has only had one blip in form since arriving and has played virtually every game alongside some really poor defenders.
We want better, but he's a good player and a great defender, even with the odd wild tackle.

He’s been relegation fodder for 90% of his career. Old man on a free he’s fine I guess.

A red in work was trying to see what I thought about it and I just told him that I don’t care.
Had 1 at work mention it to me. I just laughed and said he won the ball. I just don't care either. No one is injured. They won. It's probably a game where the result won't affect anything anyway. It really doesn't matter much

How many times has he been relegated?

So all the vitriol and constant chat in the media about him meaning to do it and hurt the player etc, has meant him and his wife and kids are getting death threats and disgusting messages on socials.
Nice one reds.

I could write a 4 page essay right now on all the absolutely horrendous tackles from their players on derby day that didn't get a red card.

Disadvantaged by never being injured. I think if we lost him for a 10 game run, you'd see Tarkowski's worth in this side.

Yeah I mean I thought the jokes about "winning a 2-2 draw" were on point, if a little predictable.
But this "cheated by a 1-0 win" drivel around the tackle is pretty tedious now. You won, with an offside goal, stfu ffs!

Yeah the meejah has a lot to answer for.
Stoke up anger and outrage for 48 hours and then appear shocked when the player receives death threats from the cultists.
Also notice that none of the media outlets is willing to say that the death threats are from Liverpool fans, despite it being overwhelmingly obvious.

Its mad isnt it.
Frothing at the mouth talking over one another to get in how much he meant it. Look at his eyes, and all that shite.
Over and over and over again.
Then oh shock horror that 'football fans' are telling him they are going to murder him and his wife.
Cant stand them.

I've heard they're getting t-shirts made to support the abusers.

It's a bad one and we couldn't have grumbled if it was a red but I had an ear piece in listening to the radio trying to get the youngest to sleep at the time so I didn't see it live. When I did see it, I could see the shouts for the red, fair enough but I honestly expected to see both feet connecting somewhere just above the throat with a death toll somewhere in the dozens.
Suffice to say, I've seen a lot worse challenges and if it wasn't them, it wouldn't be a national news story.

Im fed up reading about this, it was a proper good Derby challenge, both teams have given them out, probably them more than us to be fair, he won the ball, and the whole ball not just a little toe on it, fuckin move on.
