Just hope that this isn't a reaction to KDH being out for much longer than expected.
Still nothing on KDH which is a serious worry. Also N'Diaye seems to have picked something up at AFCON, so you can see why he has been recalled, amongst all of the other injury concerns.

..and Keane ? Moyes was asked what was the issue with Charley and Kean and he said “I’m not telling you” ?

Yeah I know that, was just tagging on to an injury concern thread and raising the weird Moyes response when asked about these two, would be nice to have a couple of options on the bench and just one goalie.

Moyes has been rather shy when elaborating on timescales and details with injuries lately.
Maybe he is just fed up with injuries that he can’t be arsed to even talk about it. Or there is a virus going around and he doesn’t want the opposition to know. Or they were hungover. Or Keane and Charly had a massive fight that ended with Keane knocking Charly out.

Really excited that he's come back. I just hope he plays.
Paddy Boyland was saying we may just keep him until the end of the month and send him back to Preston again when we have all our players back. That makes sense to me.
We have three home games now, it will be great to see him feature and hopefully start against Sunderland.

Think it's a shame he's coming back as I'm virtually certain he won't start at least initially.

I’d rather he was getting regular game time on loan in the championship rather than sitting on the bench for Everton with the odd cameo if we happened to be 3-0 up with 5 mins to go.
Plus we’ve got PSR Tim and Garner playing well in midfield plus Rohl, KDH and Alcaraz can play in his position as well as Gana who should come back from AFCON some time this month.
Unless there is a major injury crisis we have no idea about?

I think that’s the case, plus Röhl is made of glass, his injury record is very poor, not just with us,but with his former clubs too.

If he was in the squad then he'd have started last night with Garner at RB

We wouldn't recall him to have him on the bench apart from 5 mins at the end. We have the other young lads for that.
Moyes isn't that brainless.

Won't do much harm to his development if he comes back here for a bit even if he doesn't eventually play many minutes. Gives us cover over a busy month and able to step in if needed.
He's able to go back in 4 weeks and join a promotion push in a team that's playing well if we decide he's no longer required.

Can definitely see him playing minutes.
KDH probably out for another 3 weeks, Alcaraz who knows so the CMs are Garner, Tim, Rohl until Gana is back most likely by Villa at best if not Leeds.
Im not sure where Rohl plays, not convinced he'd be good as one of two CMs.
Iroegbunam, despite playing well the last few is still prone to a disasterclass. The spot is his but we need an option to replace him or even Garner if we have to move Garner to RB.
There is some risk. If Im PNE I'd be looking for a replacement now not hoping he comes back as they have no control over that. So it's possible he plays limited minutes and PNE dont need him and now he's stuck on the bench for half a season.
Can't blame Moyes though, squad is threadbare and likely to remain that way for the next 4-5 matches. This is a simple solution that doesn't cost anything.
