I think Anderson has a lot of good qualities and his stats are pretty fantastic.

My main issue with him over the world cup was that his positional sense was awful compared to the top defensive midfielders int he world. For that kind of fee you'd expect him to read and understand the game far better than he does.

Chelsea spending £52m on Lacroix. Honestly.

They must be paying hundreds of millions in outstanding transfer fees every year already

I like Anderson. He played a different role for England than he did at Forest. Will be interesting to see what role he plays at City, but I think he'll do well.

Still not worth that kind of money.

Real don’t want a free exit?

So Arsenal have basically offered to take him on loan? For no fee?

Maybe he is near the end of contract and won't re-sign so don't want him to leave for free next summer, so contemplating selling now.

I'd kind of like it to happen, purely to see how he gets on here football wise. Yeah he's a monumental bellend, but he's also massively talented and would be fun to see if he can adapt to the premier league. I don't mean that in a PL is better than all the other leagues way, just that it's clearly the most physical and intense league to play in and he'd be a massive asset to it if he could hack it.
