EXCL: Everton are trying to hijack Sevilla loan move for Hannibal Mejbri as contacts are taking place today.

I played in my sons under 15's team this afternoon. I tell you what and I'm not bragging, but I was fucking brilliant. The other kids couldn't get the ball off me. It was a dog shit side like, but I shone like a polished turd. Now, Barkley? He's still thinking whether to pass...

I'd love it if this plan came together.

I'm sure he'd choose us over going to Seville and getting on a plane.

No wait that's not him is it?

He has been horrendous for years now. Hasn't been able to get in many teams at different clubs. Awful attitude etc

Baffling that minds can change so quickly, especially from those who i think have v good football insight (Brap & BD!)
Exactly.

He’s not even playing that great at Luton. He’s a big fish in a small pond. If you watch a full game with him in it you’ll see what we know of him on the ball - tidy, strong and can move. But off the ball, when play breaks down or possession is lost - he just fucking strolls. Zero defensive thoughts at all. Unless he’s got the ball going forward, he doesn’t want to know. It’s a one man show.

It’s only because he’s at a club the size of Luton that he’s allowed to get away with this. He’s just playing for himself. But all you see in the highlights on MOTD is him moving through the gears in midfield and he looks great.

I’d have Barkley back in a flash. I understand why people wouldn’t want him, but I’m not emotional like that.

He’s had a good season and can score/assist/carry the ball better than our midfielders.

It’s just where we are as a team. On a free: all day long.
