Think he’s been playing injured.
Not seeing him hit those diags or come out of defence as much.
He’s been a boss player for us. Once he’s back fit and branthwaite is in the team he’ll be fine.

Yep, off colour - playing whilst not 100%
McNeil, similar last season

The Tarks of old today, no surprise with Branthwaite next to him.

Definitely better today, but still had two dodgy moments when he didn't read the player pushing it past him, thought he was going to give a pen away in the second half.

Played well today, more like the Tarks we know and love.
That 'robust' tackle he put in made Ipswich lose their heads a bit and played right in to our hands. Delap spent most of his time barging in to the back of people instead of contributing anything meaningful.
Got to love it when we bring a team down to our level when we know we'll win that battle every single time against a team that is used to playing nice football.

I don’t rate him at all but a relegated clogger grandad from a shite Burnley team for free is where we’re at as a club I guess.

Bit harsh that. He's not your cultured continental ball playing centre half but as a stopper and as a skipper he's had more good games than bad for us.

I still think there's a place in modern day football for the type of player he is, especially the way we play

Certainly from the point of leadership, not that we're blessed in that respect but we'd be kind of rudderless without him.

Yeah where would we be without his blag squaring up “hold me back lads” antics.

Dread to think where we’d be if we didn’t sign tarkowski.
Been a great player for us .

We seem to jump on the weirdest things sometimes, he's a had a bit of a dip in form, nothing awful
