One thing I do trust Dyche with is to make sure he's fit before he plays.

Do you though? They said in the interview that Dyche ‘has a track record of getting people back to full fitness before playing them’.
Is that true? Or did it just happen once with DCL because we couldn’t afford the risk of him going straight back out again for several weeks?

Great interview, sounds like a great lad, hope it works out for him.

I fucking hate these interviews. You learn nothing and they all answer in the most insipid, media trained, inoffensive ways. No-one has an opinion or anything to say of any value.

Agreed. It’s only really Jack Grealish who ignores the media trained lines.

Nah, this lad is genuine.
We have to admit they're the same inane leading questions dished up to every new signing to promote positivity from the fans. It's glaringly obvious that each of these players is here for the money, premier league exposure and a desire for first team football to ensure career development, and their chance of an international spot is enhanced/maintained.
Taking points:
1. Exciting project and future at Everton...incl mentioning 'New Stadium'
2. The manager has followed you for a long time (subtext: no, really, this wasn't a last minute, last option, situation). Why did you choose us over the other teams interested? (subtext: tell us about us, aren't we good to have signed you)
3. What can you bring to the team? (what can you do for us)
4. Recall a recent experience listening to the vociferous fans (when you played against us) at Goodison. (subtext: say something that the fans will like to hear so they at least start out cheering for you)
He sounded as genuine as he could have, when tasked with regurgitating the same PR marketing spin and catch phrases every player has to endure.

I’m not saying he isn’t. I’m saying we don’t see it.
