We'll see how others do long term, but I think this season at least he has made a bit of mockery of some of the other managers which seem like you can't judge them until every player in every position is their signing.

Managers should be able to come in and improve the players they have already (within reason).

Yeah. Amorim’s apology to the Utd fans was so cringe. Judging by the looks the players were giving him, he’ll have his work cut out just to not lose the dressing room!

Really don't understand philosophy when you don't have the players for it. It feels incredibly self indulgent and not really the job hes meant to be currently doing

Moyes 19 games 31 points
This season he would have had us avoid relegation playing only half of the season :?

Poor decisions but the injuries in defence really impacted his choices. Needs backing in the market these next two weeks.

Just not going to work with the recruitment structure.

He’s got form for falling out with people above him and it feels like it’s happened already.

He’s right to be disappointed with how it’s gone so far but he loses any sympathy when he’s not going to use the players that have been bought.

Aznou as our only left back should have been part of the squad. Barry should have come on a lot sooner.

Totally kneejerk but I'd be happy for him to fuck off after tonight. Either he's inept and didn't see Barry for beto was a risk free sub or he didn't make it to prove a point which would be inexcusable

Honestly before the season is a week old I feel like the whole thing is an absolute chore again. I don't want to invest my time. Feel for them having to put money in too. Same old shite from nicer seats

Has he said anything about Aznou? Surely he hasn't just left him out??

I cba with this Moyes.

I dont give a shit if he wants to be in charge of everything, football doesn't work like that anymore.

He needs to grow the fuck up and do his job as the coach/manager or go elsewhere.

Why are always so unprofessional? Its so painful.

Let’s see what comes out about this.

Not a huge fan of the team selection. The passivity with the subs was inexcusable in match that was there to be won.

Aznou was injured lads. Says it on the Everton site.

Don't think Moyes had his best game with his conservative use of subs.
