Re: General Transfer Thread
Fair fucks to him, local lad, aimed high and smashed it. Pretty sure this is a level above him, but he was never happy with the Everton bench, wish him well, massive challenge for him.

Re: General Transfer Thread
How can you wish him well after the absolute fucking shit he gave us. Absolute kopite cunt. Hope he fails so bad.
Reality is, he will do well because he's playing for one of best teams in the world, so can do his kick and run and win a million penalties.
Re: General Transfer Thread
Apparently not, dreaming of Barca since he was 3!
Honestly, the absolute shite footballers spout when they sign for a new club

Yes he wanted to leave to further his career, but equally Everton sold him to balance the books. He left, I'm fine with it, I was never a massive fan tbh, but I cant knock his ambition.

Re: General Transfer Thread
Im not arsed that he went never particularly rated him. He does seem a little unlikeable with delusions of grandure though
He will do amazing at barca. Its all set up for him not to fail. His success does feel undeserved though. He leaves everton and newcsrseke not particularly missing him and now he's at barca

Can you say he has delusions of grandeur when he's ended up at Barca though?
I think he'll be on the bench most of the time tbf. Yamal, Raphinha and Alvarez will be on the pitch most weeks.

Iraola probably will go there. Former player Richard Hughes heads up recruitment. Links with Bournemouth.

Re: General Transfer Thread
I think he’s going to smash it personally and will be a good fit for Flick - he’s a bit of a whiner off the pitch but he presses very very well and wouldn’t be surprised to see him make a similar step up to what Raphinha didBally wrote:this Gordon transfer is surely AI

Re: General Transfer Thread
Mad though to think just an over 3 years ago Gordon was rubbing shoulders with Tom Davies and Mason Holgate while Frank Lampard was sending us to certain relegation.
Now he’ll be rubbing shoulders with Yamal and Pedri battling for Spanish league title and Champions League.

Re: General Transfer Thread
Class C drugs include:
anabolic steroids
benzodiazepines (diazepam)
khat
nitrous oxide (laughing gas)
piperazines (BZP)
Probably benzos, think it's quite common for players to take them in order to sleep well before matches. They're very addictive though and can lead to players sourcing them illegally as doctors are very reluctant to prescribe them even short term.
The headline sounds bad, and I have no sympathy for anyone driving whilst impaired, but plenty of footballers have been on top of the world only to see it all fall apart and not know how to cope... Can be a brutal industry and more should be done to support mental health for those whose careers have got the skids, or are nearing the end.
