Jesus.... doom central. Loads of our players suffered hamstring injuries under Martinez... none were written off, but of course Branthwaite has to be

He’s been very injury prone and is now looking at being out for more than half a year.

Constant hamstring issues is never a good sign in a player.

Apart from a couple of the usual forum over reactors I don't think anyone's writing him off but he's now missed 50 games in four and a bit seasons, that's not a good record. It's more than just a minor hamstring twinge.

What a shame for us and the lad. Great talent.

Hopefully, we can get him back at some point this season, but more importantly, fully fit for 2026-27. Get well, JB!

We'll never know the full story , was it misdiagnosis, did he even see a specialist back in July when it was supposed to be a 'minor niggle' . Normally graded aren't they , did we put off surgery on the hope it would heal without, as you don't really want to . Either way gutted for him , probably misses out again for a tournament.

Wonder why they edited his post? He mentioned getting negative comments towards him as well.

How can you get negative comments? What for? Being injured?

Not like he’s sat on the bench claiming to be injured, he’s needed surgery.

But then, why the fuck am I surprised?

From his point of view there has been plenty of negativity in this thread alone.
