Very true. Which good sides have 1 quick player in their entire squad?

As per you've strayed from the point I'm making, the quantity of fast players aren't what make a good team. Pace isn't the main thing any squad requires. City don't rely on it, neither do Arsenal or even them dickheads across the park. Having some pace gives a different option but it isn't a requirement to win games. Would much rather we built a footballing side.
I don't have an aversion to pace, one of my favourite players was Kancheslskis who was fucking rapid. But give me a Grealish on one side and a Ndiaye on the other and we are flying. Get ballers around that. Look at Dewsburys Halls movement, previously players like Osman, Rodriguez, Barry. Played the game in their heads as much as on the pitch.

But but but, why can’t we just get rapid ballers who can do it all

if PSG can then we must be able to pick at least one up right, we’re the next best option surely

We do play in the strongest fastest league on the planet and have had 2mph max speed Dwight McNeil on the wing for the last 1 billion years (90 mins every single game)

We are probably the next fastest after PSG. 2nd in the most right back category too. Not sure why we are complaining really
I mean come on youre being incredibly disingenuous. Weve been moaning at our chronic lack of pace throughout the team for years now. We signed 2 wingers in the summer. 1 for our second largest fee ever and 1 on loan for 200k a week. Both incredibly slow for wingers. Theres something gone wrong there just in terms of common sense
We dont gave to be PSG to think having some pace in the team might be an idea

Which 2 are the slow 1s? Dibling grealish Ndiaye mcneii? Why would we sign more slow 1s before we address the chronic lack of pace. We cant just keep adding players that dont directly address our problems because hopefully we'll sign some that do
The addition of Grealish will likely coincide with the moving on of McNeil.
Neither of them are quick but they are light years apart in terms of quality.
Immediate upgrade secured. Now move on to other areas to address.

Lewis hall just dropped for Dan burn
Liveamento always injured. If you consider Newcastle as playing two flying full backs then you could say that’s why they’re down in 14th.
Robinson been rubbish this season
Rico Henry always injured
Timber a centre half turned full back
White a centre half turned full backs
Now go name me the amount of centre mids or centre halves who are playing at full back.
Or the full backs who are asked to either sit in the defence to make a back three, or go into the midfield.
I don’t have to mate it’s not me saying there is….i was just answering the point there’s no flying full backs anymore in the prem and giving examples of players who are amongst others…

Can’t be arsed with us spending three seasons+ to try and be Arsenal-lite and get a squad for Grockball. Arsenal have spent like a billion and still haven’t actually won anything doing that. And by the time we get competent, someone else will have come up with something different that’s better

Think there's a weird obsession with pace. You only need one pace player to offer something different, if the rest of the squad are good footballers it's movement into space that makes the difference.
Let's just try to at least get to one and see how we get on.
