I was looking at that a couple of days ago to see if he was still there, another player who got a move that was probably above his talent and it ended up becoming a bit of a career graveyard. I'm surprised one of the promoted teams didn't take a chance on him, especially Leeds.

Seeing him at West Ham and Ipswich probably put them off in fairness. Awful at both.

Basically the equivalent of modern day money laundering. Sign a player , loan them to your other club you own then sell em for a blag fee . 3 Chelsea and 2 Brazil appearances. Yet goes for £60m.

Your point still stands, but in fairness to him he has seemingly rejected the move? Saying he thought his chances of playing in the World Cup were higher if he stayed in the PL.
