Why are we not slotting Armstrong here? We don't need another similar player to a profile which we already have in midfield. Are we on a mission to just stock up young english players.

Get in a powerhouse of a midfielder who can get up and down, win aerial battles and can chip in with a few goals.
I do definitely want pace and powa in the middle with lots of aerials 100% but Hackney does add a little something else with his carries and open play chance creation (best in the championship.

Not very Moyes tho.

Wonder if we are building a team for the next man..

Possibly, if that is the case then why not get that man in now, rather than having this manager that will waste a year of these young footballers talents by giving them little to no minutes.

Just not seeing any logic or explanation from this club in what we're exactly trying to achieve.

I dont think they know past bournemouth or brighton. Theres no plan in place beyond buy young talent. We wont even necessarily buy 1s that fit into the holes. We certainly dont have the scouting to find the quality.

Probably because he’s just won the league and wants another crack at the champions league 😉

Yeah we are planning how long without a right back?? Highest wage earner sat infront of a paceless full back when he desperately needs an attacking threat behind him. Biggest signing of the summer 5th or 6th choice winger

Yeah clearly we are making well throught out joined up decisions. Its all a combination of great planning and great recruitment.

What was the indepth plan under moshiri when we were a professional club with 140 years of history??

What do we think the plan is now. It seems to be the Brighton route but without the scouting, without the identifying of our current needs and without a pathway to the 1st team. That's not really a plan. Thats a wish

A different type of manager and the squad suddenly becomes way more useable.

Without solving the fullback problem I think we could bring in someone amazing and still have the same problems, or at best shift the problem somewhere else. Just like when moyes arrived, we might see some improvement but we need to finish cutting out the rot.

Solve that problem and I think we'd have done better under moyes this season, although the style of football probably wouldn't change much.

So how can it be “the Brighton way”? If according to you were doing nothing like they do?
You should read your posts out loud to yourself before submitting it…..that would be my plan if I were you……

Jesus. Brighton have a detailed plan and the staff to pull it off. Our plan is young players with sell on value. Only our scouting is shite and theres no path way.
