Done everything he can do to prove himself.

Up to moyes now to decide his future.

If anyone wants him then they have to give us our money back at the very least. You’re not finding man strikers with his goalscoring record, pace and power.

He’s 28, but in football years he’s actually quite young. Has a lot less mileage on the clock so he may hit his peak a bit later like a vardy type.

Get him on Vardy’s caffeine intake and see what happens!

Defo an important part of the squad going forward. Has been really good.

Whichever striker we bring in will have to play consistently well to keep him on the bench (which is great for us). I genuinely think that. He's a proper handful and bullied Botman like he has a number of excellent CBs this season.

Obviously I've been highly critical of the guy, especially his hold up play but fair fucks the last couple of games in particular he's shown a massive improvement.

He's still too erratic for me, two offside goals last week, missed a great chance yesterday... But playing as he has overall since Moyes came in it's hard to argue he's not been a really important player for us.

I think he'd be a great signing for Leeds if the rumours are true, will score and be a nuisance at this level but if you go down he'd be unstoppable at Championship level.

Would I keep him? That's the question I'm struggling with... At the expense of signing another striker probably not, and that brings in the question of would he be as effective as a sub / rotation option? I don't think so. Seems like the kind of guy who thrives when someone believes in him.

Does feel like it's taken the pressure off signing a striker in the summer though, Beto's probably done enough to at least give Moyes some food for thought about if we buy a first choice or some young hot shot who can rotate in and out without needing to hit the ground running.

I'm back to firmly being in the 'He's our main guy' and use the money everywhere else this summer.

Got to keep him , budget will be tight and players needed elsewhere. He will have us all pulling our hair out
Bar a few (insert names)
but we know what he gives when he's on it.

Main man plays from the start could get 15+ , is the type who scores in bunches , so could also go 6+ games with out hitting a barn door.

I'm at the point where I would be more disappointed if he went than if Dom went, which is a huge switch for me.

As well as he's done since Moyes came in I think we need to temper expectations with his goal scoring... He's never scored more than 11 in a season and that was in an inferior league, so to ask for 15+ in the Premier League would be quite a massive jump for him.

I'd be happy with him bagging 10 and displaying the hold up play he's shown the last couple of games.

Ye it'd be a naive move to go into the season without bolstering with another striker to be the main guy. Beto has been really good, but we need another number 9.

It was more an observation of getting a full season under Moyes , rather than the first half under Dyche.

Happy for any striker to score ten goals or more.

If you achieve that with good all round play then you’re sound by me.

Moyes insists on productivity from his midfield players so you don’t need someone bagging goals for fun upfront.

Beto does have potential to have a monster season infront of goal though. His ability to constantly get good chances and shots off is really impressive. He always hits the target as well.

He’s the opposite of Dom in that regard.

That's the key for me. If you hit the target, there's always a chance it might sneak in. If you're working the keeper consistently, it's only a matter of time before he drops one, or pushes it right back out into the danger zone.

Beto might be a little unconventional at times, but he does create a bit of chaos. He's big, strong and pretty awkward for centre halves to deal with. He has also shown a fair bit of improvement in the last few weeks. He's never going to be peak Ronaldo, but he is a handful.

That's pretty much where i am,i think he's a better option to keep than dcl.
His improvement since Moyes came in has been incredible, and i think he's done enough to be given a chance next season

One of the happy stories of the season. He has improved so much in every way but it is his hold-up play that has come on so much in the last few months. Clearly, Moyes’ faith in him has given him the confidence to move forward. That and his ability to hit the target so consistently means he’s gone from being a player I thought we’d have to sell at a loss to one I’d hate to lose.
