Or we could wait till a third human in the entire world pases their coaching badges and employ them. In a hybrid set piece coaching our striker role

Got a feeling this boy is going to smash it next season, he’ll be our starting forward, on merit.

He's been quite good the last couple of matches, think Moyes will give him a pre-season.

A good old fashioned trip to Austria David Moyes pre season will do him the world of good.

He's better than delap

Shouldn't be one or the other though, we need options in the squad.

The more I watch him the more I like. He seems to be getting better game after game.
The more quality we can surround him with, the better it will be. We will still need to bring in another striker unless they strike a deal with DCL, which I don’t see happening.

Agree though I'm really not overly keen on delap, least not on an apparent 150k a week

Nothing better than scoring a quadruple hat trick in pre season to boost the confidence

He's so clearly been working so hard on his all-round game, it's great to see.

If that's what he wants, then he can get it somewhere else.
He simply isn't worth that

Made big strides with his back to goal game over the last 6 months. Still long way to go on that front but he gets chances, great runner, handful for defenders.
Leaning towards wanting him to stay now, if he can take his hold up play up another level and continue to score goals he'll be a very capable striker for a mid table side.

Caused them a lot of problems today, made life very uncomfortable for their defenders and has them on edge every time they had to deal with a ball down the channel or over the top.
Thought he was great, shame both he missed that left footed chance as deserved a goal.
He has been pretty great these last 2 games and looked more of a rounded player.
