Moyes could have played it safe today, bringing Alcaraz in wasn't the easy option. This is a different man nowadays and it's hard not to love it.

Just get the sense we're on the right track, safe and secure and beyond.

Made up with how his return has gone.

One of the big problems i had with Moyes during his first tenure was that we would fuck things up the match after a big result.
Beat United at home then lose to Barnsley or something the week after. Always meant we never "got anything" from a result against a big team.
So the 4 points this week that could have been 1 or zero is a massive plus in his column for me.

Get some silverware in the next 2 or 3 years and this man gets a statue. (get to fuck getting one before winning something though!)

I'm out tomorrow to watch the two games and have a few ales.
There's a good chance i could bump in to my west ham supporting mate.
I'm going to ask him how the sexy football is going now they have got Moyes to fuck off

Our form in the last 5 games has been spectacular. And today with all those injuries, other players come in and step up.

Sitting pretty in the table and looking upwards rather than downwards is a wonderful privilege.

It is nice to be sometimes totally wrong about an appointment, genuinely didn't think he had this in him.

To be fair, I think even his biggest cheerleader wouldn't have predicted a 4-1-1 set of results from 6 league games

Takes at least 18 months to start performing at a club. We can’t afford to give him that time.
Prime example !

I didn’t want him to come back. Got us safe after 6 games. Ridiculously good. I am genuinely delighted to have been so wrong. Bigger tests ahead but what a job he’s done in such a short time.

Thought we were a bit ropey today but he's instilled a belief in the players that we can still get a result even if we aren't playing great, down on numbers and tired from a big match a few days before.

If you're in the game at all times you'll have days where even when not at your best you can still grind out 3 points. That's not a tactical thing, it's a mentality that we had under him before and he's instilled immediately now he's back. It's just fucking brilliant isn't it?

I honestly expected when they scored so soon after half time we'd lose the match, yet we ended up bloody winning it! I can't remember the last time that type of thing happened.

It's nice to actually look forward to games again.

Even when we conceded against Palace, it was an odd feeling...every goal against us for a lonnnng while has felt like a bit of a hammer blow as for most games it has been a struggle for us to score at all...today it wasn't like that. It felt more normal, it wasn't a catastrophe, we were in the game and it was just a setback.

All around very impressive day considering the effort the midweek game must have taken.

Let it go

it was years ago

He has turned what was a nightmare of a season into one that's now got optimism and pride

It's time to forgive

Nothing to forgive imo, great to have you back Davy Moyes !
