We've been able to see this for weeks though.

Walking through treacle after 70 mins, taking the wrong decisions when in the final third, lazy attempt at good chances.

Been pretty obvious he's not been at it so why do we never rotate these players out the team. Freshen it up. Take them out the firing line for a bit.

Good player, could even be great in the right environment. Not sure he helps himself though by not delivering the stats his talent deserves.

Also both he and the opposition know that he is our only attacking threat.

Must be quite demoralising getting the ball and previously having Grealish there occupying defenders, but instead you’ve got McNeil or a young cm in Armstrong or Röhl on the other flank.

Yeah this is where you want to see George or Dibling getting a game and giving Ndaiye a rest so he can come on later in the game when legs are tired, or even sub him off after 70 a few weeks in a row.

Moyes has desperately hoped him and KDH can get to the end of the season, and when they've dropped off he's not been willing to change it.

Saving himself for the world cup by any chance?

Just knackered I think. Doesn't seem to be able to kick a ball properly, I wonder if he's playing with an injury.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if he's playing with something bothering him, it certainly looks like it.

Didn't he either miss a game, or maybe he was just a doubt for a game at some point after AFCON? Possibly related though.

Dunno how any of these players think they would fare in a CL squad but someone like salah has been playing 300 games a year for the last decade. We get dumped out of every cup immediately and have no Europe and they’re all goosed.

Looked like a YouTube player yesterday. Loads of skill but nothing came off and was completely ineffective.

I really like him, but he’s been the most disappointing player in this run of form. He’s meant to be the main man in this current team minus Grealish and it’s all been so ineffective ultimately.

Last few games you do wonder if he’s managing an injury or something pre World Cup.

It unfortunately looks worse when we’re seeing these games play out and we are leaving players on the bench. George actually created a chance in the small time he had that should’ve been the equalizer. You could’ve given Sunderland’s thorn in the side from the home cup game Aznou a chance to cause some chaos.

All around very frustrating as it feels like we’ve exhausted no options and said well that’s the best we can do.

He's had a poor second half of the season. To be fair though it must be hard being the only really attacking outlet on both sides of a football pitch for most games.

Might help them if they have 60% of the ball every game and are instructed not to bother defending like Salah for the last 10 years?

He does tend to be triple marked by the way. Be nice if it wasn't all on him to do something.

Him + Grealish + 2 fullbacks that look like they've played football for more than a week + a midfielder who is aware they are allowed to pass forward and it's a frightening prospect.

It's so, so, so easy to mark this one guy out of the game when he is on his own.

He is doubled up on all the time because myko doesn’t overlap that’s the issue put 2 good full backs into the team and a decent midfielder transform this team
