Not entirely sure what they were expecting tbh. There was absolutely no way that he was ever going to keep that absolute shit show in the PL. I don't think I was the only one who was under the impression that they had gone for Edwards as they knew they were absolute fucking bobbins and were going down, so had broight Edwards in to navigate them towards promotion from the Championship next season, hence the 5 year deal.
