Surely us over them as he wouldn’t need to move home, although I guess Leeds isn’t a million miles away either.
People in Barnsley tend to be very philopatric and have a “dislike” of people from Leeds and Sheffield as both cities tend to think of themselves as the capital of yorkshire and look down on little old Barnsley

Pinch of salt given the original Turkish source, but we've been linked regularly with him

If true, a new low. Coming second to Ipswich is gutting

It was reported that the young winger from villa picked them previously too

When you come to terms with the notion that we're shopping in the same place as Ipswich you really don't care who the player chooses.

We weren't in for him. Not one credible journo has linked us with him.
If we wanted him, Ipswich wouldn't even be a consideration.
Calm down.

I was gonna say, what are we even moaning about?
Not a single reputable link and I’d be a bit annoyed if we gave a League One club £20m for a player they have to offload, especially one just a year removed from a major knee injury.
Intriguing player for sure but not remotely worth worrying about. Maybe our business hasn’t been optimal but I don’t think we’ve done a thing wrong yet. We’re trying to stretch a budget to comply with financial rules, we can’t just match every top bid.

If he was a right back, I might just about get it. But he’s not.

Leicester fans never stopped slagging him off last season. Lazy apparently which isn't really what moyes likes
If he goes to ipswich he will probably be available in 12 months anyway on account of them being shite

It would be pure Everton though, Ipswich pay £20m and then get relegated and we buy him for £40m the following season.

Just watched the 3rd place game and I’m convinced that DJ Ed Spence’s agent told him that if he didn’t play well in this tournament, he’d have to go to Everton.
Been great throughout.
