Stefan Borson on Talksport now Financial expert who has in the past been advisor to City - Also an "expert" on FFP/PSR issues and litigation.
He stated that the 40 page report on how the commission reached the penalty. Clearly starts with "Everton are in serious breach Of PSR rules" based on this statement he feels they were intent on making it a "serious" penalty and then said everyone/including himself thought it was a strong penalty. However, as they've made the ruling he feels they'll stick with it and cant see any reinstating of points. The only very slight glimmer of hope for Everton is the fact based on 9 points for administration but there's there is absolutely no guidelines on what they could've issued.

The really worrying comments from him is that he also said we will probably fall foul of PSR in 23-24 as all the submitted evidence (figures) suggest that we could be -£85 million putting us well in breach again.

So in layman's terms, we're well and truly fucked?

Is the 23-24 books the one we submitted early?

Our only hope now then I guess is super silk finds a loophole.

Looking a bit grim isn't it.

I'd be super dubious about anyone who appears on Talksport in any capacity.

I'm sure the same guy has said that City are innocent of all their charges in the past.

Also, how can you comment on next year's accounts and us failing them, given that we're in the period now? We could sell Onana and/or Brainthwaite in early summer for example.

Don't listen to fucking Talksport. We've had Simon Jordan and Jim White telling us how grateful we should be for Moshiri and Kenwright for years, while our fans have been protesting, and now they're jumping on the ''Everton have been run terribly, they deserve everything they get'' bandwagon, because it angers people and gets them to call in to the show, or fans of other clubs to call in to pile on.

It's the fucking worst of the worst.

Sadly this guy does actually know what he’s talking about. He advised city prior to the Arabs taking over.
He wasn’t commentating on next years accounts he was commenting on the accounts Everton have just produced which indicate a potential shortfall of up to -85millions. That isn’t including the -20 millions this second charge relates to either. He’s a f pot all financial expert so actually one of the few who does actually know what he’s on about

To be fair, Simon Jordan has been telling everyone what a mess we are for a while now.

In fairness to Simon Jordan, making a cunt of running a football club is something he's well experienced in.

I love how the very men that say woman footballers can't comment on the men's game because they haven't played at that level, are also listening to that cunt Simon fucking Jordan.

So, until the Premier League decided to change the rules, mid-process, the interest payments on the stadium would have been exempt? Well surely that is a major factor in defending our position in this, no? If the goalposts are moved, mid-process, then surely it is nigh on impossible for us not to be in breach. Therefore, it shouldn't be too difficult to demonstrate that the Premier League have acted in bad faith and have treated us unfairly, especially when you consider that other clubs have been allowed to invest in stadium developments, which were presumably exempt from the calculations.
