Doubt even if Dyche does go we will see anyone significant replacing him, which suggests may as well keeping him.

The summer represents a much better time to plan properly and bring someone in based on a vision and not a knee jerk.

So annoying because Dyche is fucking cack but I really don't know.

Depends how bad the situation actually is by the time TFG are officially in. Wouldn't surprise me if they did let the axe fall.

It's got Potter written all over it. Can't come soon enough for me now.

Would be so happy with that.

I think it’s an ideal fit for the club and for him.

I'd like him but not 100% convinced with the squad he will inherit.

I’d be made up to be proved wrong but don’t think he’d last 12 months.

What do people see in potter that makes him so sure to be a failure here?

I don’t get it myself.

I'd flip that on its head, why are others so confident he'd do well?

Personally, I think it's largely nothing football, he had relative success in a really well run club, but you could also argue his subsequent successors have done better? Towards the end of his stint the Brighton fans had enough and he was pretty woeful at Chelsea as he's so rigid in his philosophy. I think he'd emulate Lampard, albeit he's probably a bit more tactical aware, but he'd stick to his guns irrespective and we'd plummet.

I’m not sure he’d cope with the expectation / pressure.

I think Brighton’s set up above him played a large part in how he did there, we’re unlikely to have anything like their set up in place at least yet. Plus I don’t think what happened at Chelsea can be completely discounted.

Like I said I’d be happy to be proven wrong, I have no real objection to him coming here, I just have doubts he’s got what it takes for where we’ll be as a club.
