Guimaraes should’ve been sent off. Should be retrospectively.

Is that not a red card then?

Again, no consistency game to game even within the same game in terms of what’s a yellow or red.
Feels like they’re making it up as they go along. Or really more like they bend the rules so much for the “big” games so that players aren’t sent off.

TBH I thought offside was most likely in the first place.

That was pathetic.
It was out.
It was a foul.
It was offside.
Given?

Yeah, I thought the same. No point in VAR when doesn't clear anything up. Not sure how it isn't offside?

Burnley are fucking woeful
Absolutely loving the hype sky placed on them before the start of the season.

Don’t think it’s been a great game. Newcastle getting some big slices of luck (or maybe incompetence?) between the non red and the goal.

The concerning for me is that the lack of offside lines makes me think they couldn't conclusively say when Joelinton made contact in that short time they give themselves and therefore just decided they couldn't call it offside? I'm convinced Gordon is ahead of the ball.

Sky confirmed it (before showing what seemed like a pretty conclusive replay...) that this is the case. Pointless.
