Not sure I agree on the pace comment, he’s absolutely rapid - like up there with the quickest wingers in the leagueAjaxAndy wrote:Gordon has become a good player but it doesn't feel like he has another level to go to, he's pretty much at his ceiling imo.
20 goal contributions is really good don't get me wrong, but he lacks the extra burst of pace or trickery to really go on to be a £100m player.
Reminds me of the level Bowen is at, not quite elite but still very good.

He's quick but it's a slightly weird quickness imo, can't work out if it's that initial burst isn't quite there but he doesn't get away from a defender the way an absolutely top player does.StirlingBlue wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 8:01 pm Not sure I agree on the pace comment, he’s absolutely rapid - like up there with the quickest wingers in the league

I'm suprised at his quickness off the mark, it makes his top speed running seem slow. It's certainly weird, one paced, yet that pace is only rapid.
Re: General Transfer Thread
A lot of money for someone who plays 20 matches a season. Insanely good but you'd have to be somewhat certain you could keep him fit for 30 matches a season at that price.
If I'm Wolves I'm selling and using those funds to improve the squad.

Ah imagine being in a financial position to just sign players well before pre-season has started, let alone the actual season!

Doubt we’ll see a lot of players move before the euros, everybody on the edge of a move will be hoping for a big tournament to bump Their negotiating position upwards.AjaxAndy wrote:Ah imagine being in a financial position to just sign players well before pre-season has started, let alone the actual season!
Bruno is Brazilian so doesn’t matter for him
