Performances like that last night where we have a full squad to choose from apart from one player proves we’re nowhere near good enough

Textbook midtable team. If we can find some consistent form in the last stretch of games then great, but im not expecting europe.

And to be honest, the difference maker for me is our strikers. They're not good enough. Barry could be in time but at the moment hes not.

It's so frustrating isn't it.

By virtue of points and position we are right on the cusp, but every week when I think this is the week we will kick on and make it count we always fall flat.

Home form is atrocious and a real issue.

It's a shame really because I can't envisage the league being this tight again for a long time where it's just begging for a team to take it by the scruff of the neck and it's unlikely it's gonna be us.

Will likely be a very low points total needed for whatever type of Europe this season.

Still on but I'm not thinking about it as we are bound to tank at home.

An improved home form and we'd be fighting for champions league places.

This is fine though. The fact we've got our hopes up as high as "hopefully other teams remain a bit shit and we can sneak the conference" is still leaps and bounds above "hopefully other teams remain a bit shit and we can sneak 4th from bottom" is a huge credit to Moyes, the club and the players.

Thing is, that is certainly an improvement on a lot of recent seasons. During those relegation battles, we’d have been thankful for a season like this so it puts it into perspective. However, it is infuriating when you think we can push on and we follow a really good performance with a largely abject one. I suppose getting that consistency is the next stage which we need to aim for

It probably says a lot that after these games we're still sitting in what is likely to be a European place

Did a run-in for the fellow nerds. Limiting it to 7th and 8th and 7 teams because cba.

Yikes, if we get 15 points out of that I'd be pleased.

Some big home games there for us. I think it'll help the atmosphere and suit our game, against the big teams that'll have more possession.

Big last game away to Spurs to claim European football while at the same time relegating them. You heard it here first.

It's still in the cards for any of them ...
With out going over old ground the points dropped to Leeds , Wolves, Bournemouth, could have had us in the box seat....

Maybe the tougher games will suit us and just tell the players it's an away game..

Bit of a wake up call this run in.

Not worth thinking about Europe again unless we have some kind of insane results

Tough run in has to be said. Can only take it a game at a time. I’d be happy with a top half of the table finish and if we grab a European spot, that’s a fantastic bonus

Averaging about 1.4 a game will get us 17 PTS , so total of 54pts . Struggling to see were we get them PTS from the remaining games. Think Brentford Home games look very good for them....

22pts will get us 7th . But that's never happening
