There are other players like Mangala out there. Go find them. Stop settling for "known" room temperature oatmeal.

Not many for £12m though, ideally we find a couple at that price but don't think that's likely.

Intrigued by Evan Ferguson, would love to see us buy a strategic long term replacement for DCL in Jan, rather than some short term tactical lump until the summer, but I'd be asking the Physio's opinion first over the Scout's.

Like his namesake in the 90's and then Dom 20 years later, the approach of... "as long as the big man stays fit we won't need to spend big on a striker" approach has ruined many a season for us.

We're cutting things fine to even unsettle a player into forcing a move.

Nah, leaving it late to attract a suitor is the tried and tested method in the local nightclubs round my way. It's that or minesweeping for beers.

They just mentioned Ferguson as a possibility for Man Utd on the FCSB vs Utd Radio commentary.

Was Talk Sport though.

Most of the Ferguson links seem to centre around West Ham (linking back with Potter) and Arsenal.

They both seem to have money to spend, so I doubt we're really in that mix.

No links at all, but I could sorta see us going for someone like Delap in the summer should Ipswich go down as he's a little more in the DCL one man band mould.

This window just feels like it's going to be loans or maybe very low cost transfers if we can find agreeable teams who need the cash.
