I'd be shocked if any manager can turn them around. They've got the players to do it, but they aren't interested and I don't see anyone changing that.
How many will be there next season regardless of what happens? Not many imo.
It's why players like McNeil were invaluable for us when we were in a similar position, they knew they'll probably still be here the following season so staying up mattered to them. He isn't as good as most of those Spurs players but also had more reason to perform than they do
Imagine being Romero, VDV, Porro etc with your agent saying everyone from Barcelona to Man City want to sign you in the summer... Hell even Vicario is by all accounts going to Inter once the season is over.
Very few have anything to play for, and why it's the likes of Archie Gray who are actually doing their best because he's not looking to move on asap.
I don't see how many manager comes in and motivates most of these players in to giving a shit.
Things can change quickly. Get a decent manager in with some knowledge of the league, a little positivity and importantly a solid structure and teams can turn it around. We know this ourselves. The Tudor appointment was a mad one, a decision like that smacks of them thinking that they thought they couldn't go down. If they course correct well there are enough players there to pick up the handful of points they'd need. Remember with all this going on, terrible choices, they've still not spent a day in the bottom 3.
Genuinely don't know which way it'll go, not saying they're nailed on to stay up, but I'd still say they have a great chance as they have enough runway left.
We'll see. It's all about who comes in.

Roy Hodgson in charge of Bristol City, 44 years after previously managing them

Surprised Spurs didn't call him! Or maybe they did?
Heckingbottom at Preston could be next to go; Challinor as replacement?

Strange appointment by Bristol City, they're 12 points above safety so shouldn't really get into trouble. Fair enough if they want to change the manager but they'd have been as well sticking with Struber until the end of the season then changing or get a permanet manger in now to work with and assess the squad for next season.

I find it hard to believe Dyche has been hanging around London without being offered the job

I actually think he'd a good fit for Spurs. Whether he's a good fit for a 7 game relegation battle, not so sure.

He probably would be given time. Plus he does know the PL which the most bizarre part about the Tudor hiring given their situation. Still, you wonder if he could be a Spurs version of a mid-season Amorin appointment in terms of his inflexible approach. Generally speaking for a relegation battle I think a little pragmatism is helpful.
From his time at Marseille:
Roberto De Zerbi left Marseille in February 2026 by mutual consent following a series of poor results, including a 5-0 loss to PSG and a Champions League exit. His departure was fueled by broken relationships with the squad, mounting internal tensions, and criticism regarding his rigid, high-risk tactical approach
Seems to be another like some of their previously appointment managers where it's only a matter of time before he has a falling out. He's capable of getting a couple of wins to keep them up though.

They will either have to throw a lot of money at him, or wait until next season. He'd be silly to take the job right now.
Whoever gets in will hope for a new manager bounce, I'm hoping it doesn't happen. Spurs in the Championship would be great!

Was thinking at the weekend that he'd be perfect for Arsenal or, god forbid, the shite.

He's done really well after that initial tough patch. Arsenal if they do end up losing the league, Liverpool although they probably go for Alonso(?), Man United I could see being interested, Newcastle might try and get him too.
Madrid might be looking for a new manager soon too. That one might be a bit unlikely though.
