Gonna cry if he goes in the summer but with so many players out of contract, something has to fund the rebuild.

I think he’ll want a season at BMD and also to see where we’re going as a club, as next season we will be like a new club.

Content and made peace with him going as I believe he's too good.

Madrid would be great for him if true.

Would kill me if he moved to another Premier league club.

Wasn't it Carlo who gave him his debut against Wolves when he was manager here? Rates him highly.

It's not an absolute certainty he goes this summer like but it will take a lot more than 75M I'd like to think.

Hopefully a fat sell on clause and first refusal to bring him back.

Can see him staying, unless we receive a silly bid. We've already got a huge squad turnover upcoming without adding to it.

Also think he'd fancy at least a year at Bramley Moore under Moyes with better players coming in. Don't see him kicking up a fuss.

£80m, a few add ons... That would make him the joint most expensive defender in history so I'd take that, maybe try push it to £85m.

We have to remember that £75m - £85m would be insane in terms of our PSR position as he only cost £1m and I'd imagine that's all been paid off by now.

The sell on fee and if it actually exists might factor in whether I'd accept £75m or not, if it is still in place I think £85m is more in line with our needs.

He's an amazing player, can play equally as well in a back 2 as a back 3, left footed, tall as fuck, fairly quick and his passing ability seems to be improving all the time. He'll leave at some point and as much as I want him to stay it'd be more beneficial to us if he left this summer than the next given the squad overhaul required.

I can see him going, but on the other hand i dont know where he goes.

City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal dont need CBs especially at the price we want.

He shouldn't go near United. Only place is abroad and i dont know if he desires that.

Imagine him in that Madrid side. What a journey for the boy.

The shite absolutely do need a quality ball playing centre half. Van Dickhead is out of contract in the summer and he's not getting any younger. I don't actually rate him and think he's a fucking donkey. I think Konate is the far better of that partnership and Branthwaite would be a massive upgrade on him. They aren't fucking having him though...

Their price is 250M, everyone else, 85M

Even at that price, it would be too painful to see him become one of those utter fucking gobshites!

I'd quite like to see him striding about the bernebau in a freshly pressed gleaming white real kit

Me too, but after giving us another year.

The thing is, the size of the rebuild required at the club just to replace the amount of people out of contract, makes me think that his sale will be needed to fund it.

Even if PSR is behind us / manageable / whatever - we still need a functioning squad with depth for injuries.

That little cheeky back header flick to Pickford is worth 75m on its own , absolute filth
