The stadium changes our financial outlook. You are failing to recognise that. These deals become possible because of what will now becoming into the club.

When i say we could be able to spend 75 million in PSR terms that could easily be covered by the stadium sponsorships.

Its literally what City do.

Im not saying turf our money into a hole. There is no reason to be losing your head over this.
I'd be very surprised if the new stadium added £70m per year onto our turnover. But, even if it did - in year 2 we have to pay another £70m from the books to carry on the amorisation. So any players we want to buy in year 2 have to be ON TOP of that. So on, so forth.

It's shit, but it's seemingly entirely the point of PSR.

I think the stars are aligning, new owners, new stadium, squad being streamlined due to end of contracts and loans expiring, and a steady head in the the shape of the more relaxed and experienced Davie Moyes. The way the so called big boys are, I believe we can gate crash the top 5-7, no reason why not. We don’t need shit loads of money to do it as everyone is running a fine line with PSR, we’re probably in a better pisistion than most.

Liverpool; Arsenal; City

Utd; Newcastle; Chelsea; Villa; Spurs

Fancy our chances, along with a couple of "outsiders" - Leeds, West Ham...?
Looking at the second group, Newcastle and Villa are relatively new to that pack and Man U and Spurs are in danger of dropping out of it.

Time could be ripe to shake things up a bit. It could all be happening at the right time and maybe Europe is not as immediately unattainable as some of us thought.

Ha! I’ve just said a similar thing! Hadn’t seen your post at that point.

Utd and Spurs will bounce back

Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford are having their day(s) in the sun

A couple of surprises will come from nowhere in the next few years: Preston? Portsmouth? Sheff Wed?

Be ready to pounce - if we don't, some other club will...

Coufal 7 years younger than Ashley Young. Give him a 7 year deal.

Would both slot right in but a little lazy and unimaginative?

Both the wrong side of 30 aren't they?

It would allow us to release Young and Coleman (although I'd give Coleman one more year as a player/coach role) and promote Patterson as our main RB with Coufal as more adequate back up. We also know JOB is fine there too if needed.

Would make sense but was hoping we'd cast the net a little further than doing this, if it is true like.

Neither will be signing for us.

I did enjoy West Ham Central saying Soucek would be our best player by far though.

Just reposts anything and everything he hears West Ham, seems to be thought of as a dickhead across their forums.

Think exwhuemployee might be their main one? Not sure.

Yeah he used to be good, but I think the longer it's been since he was working there his number of contacts has dropped?
