Pickford
Re: Pickford
He's marginally the best of the worst crop of English keepers ever. When you see other keepers talk about him they're usually quite disparaging, which says it all when they usually stick together.
He's ok for a mid to lower table prem team, it is what it is

Re: Pickford
He's a very good keeper who's in bad form. He's been great for us for the past 2 seasons and usually rock solid for England and has performed great in big matches.
For whatever reason as soon as his form dips, as every player's does at points, it's like this is the norm for his ability rather it being abnormal.
Hopefully he regains form quickly but it'll always be just one error or bad patch of form before people start claiming Ramsdale or Pope should be number one again, even though they're nowhere near as good.

Re: Pickford
Yeah I love him, gets a massive wide berth for his dips in form after keeping us up twice. Top keeper, with a few weaknesses.
Re: Pickford
Few weaknesses? Never claims anything in the box, gets beat more than any keeper in the league from distance, terrible at one on ones, and is erratic as fuck. Technically you're right, these are a 'few' weaknesses, but fuck me, they're quite significant weaknesses compared to his strengths - good shot stopper, can kick the ball from one goal straight out of play to the other end

Fortunately, we've been comfortable enough the last few years to manage with a shite keeperRaptor wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2024 7:55 pm Few weaknesses? For the last few years he’s been our most important and consistent player and won us more points than any other mofo.
Edit: yeah, his dips are bad tho

Re: Pickford
Was bound to happen lads his form last few games hasn’t been great plus he is an easy target for the fans rather than look at the bigger problems
