Re: Today's Football 2024-25
Scotland and Northern Ireland keepers gifting away goals, imagine if Pickford did either of those, inquests would be needed! Ramsdale would have to start!

Gunn was at fault for the equaliser but he was superb the rest of the game, kept us in it with some of the saves he made.Cereal Killer wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 8:53 pm Scotland and Northern Ireland keepers gifting away goals, imagine if Pickford did either of those, inquests would be needed! Going to give the England game a few mins, missed the previous one and I'm interested to see how Carsley is setting them up.

Crazy how little Southgate used Gordon considering how much danger the little bellend produces on the leftblueToffee wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2024 7:04 pm Going to give the England game a few mins, missed the previous one and I'm interested to see how Carsley is setting them up.

I completely forgot England was on... Can't be arsed now it's almost half time so will watch something with the missus instead.
0-0 against Finland after 40 odd minutes isn't exactly filling me with much excitement that it'll be worth annoying the wife to watch

TAA must be getting close to Ronaldo fraud levels with these freekick attempts.

Re: Today's Football 2024-25
It was fairly ok, although if Finland made better choices on the break they could've probably been ahead.
We are having a go more it feels like, moving it around with a bit more purpose than the sideways/backwards that can be very frustrating to watch, but Finland are clearly dug in with a pretty low block and it can be hard to find space to play in.

Yeah, he was certainly underutilised just having some pace on either side can make a big difference. He does just help balance the team more. That said, Gordon for me is decent but I'm still of the opinion he's has a level to go before I'd be really excited to see him starting for England. Right now, I just think it's a sensible choice.

Playing better in the second half. They just scored actually, was coming/deserved.

Pretty embarrassed to say I assumed Madueke was Dutch as I knew he came to Chelsea from PSV and clearly I don't watch enough of England u-21s. Good player though, surprised he's not had more of a look in before now.

Re: Today's Football 2024-25
The commentators seem to have a massive blind spot to his aimless Hollywood balls going straight to the opposition, they don’t even mention he’s gifted possession away yet again

When it comes off though his passes are sublime.
I'd rather he tried them tbh
