Mate he was fucked. He needed subbing after 75 mins. Everyone could see it, apart from the gaffer of course.

Proper midfield destroyer.

Sharpen up his decision making and cardio and he will be an absolute beast of CM.

It's fine listen people are going to think I'm saying he's bad or something.

I'd love to see a midfield three with Gana Tim Mangala, so Tim could be let off the leash.

But we're not getting that from dyche, his midfield is a double pivot, and I think he's too aggressive a player to play in a two at the moment.

How do you balance that I don't know, but Gana in all that space on his own isn't going to work.

Surely with the sports science and gps technology now the stats guys could see there was a drop off in certain players performance in the last 20 minutes on Saturday we all could see it as fans this guy has been brilliant but not up to the full 90 yet

It worked for 70 minutes until his tank hit empty

It’s what we should be doing against teams in and around us that we want to take the game to and beat at home

Is it going to work away to Arsenal? Completely not, but that’s on the manager to see that and line us up differently in those games

We aren’t Man City and can just plough on the same formation and tactics no matter who we play

Probably fairer to say he's not yet up to playing 3x 90 minutes in the space of 8 days yet.

Yeah he's still raw but you can see there's a proper player in there. Holds on to it too long instead of passing at times, can't last 90 mins, positionally a bit naive... but definitely a baller in the making.

Needs a proper screener behind him though, don't know if that's Garner or Mangala but for me he's Gana's replacement and unless he's knackered I'd keep him in and let his confidence grow.

Dyche doesn't play with a 6 behind the midfield tho so...

He plays a two man midfield with one ahead of them who's not really a ten but is like a striker who runs back into shape off the ball.

Would love a 3 man midfield with a 6 but we are 100% not getting that and never will under this manager, we are getting a double pivot and you can't drop Gana for him so...

Sad to say it but Tim is going to have to play less. I know that sounds bad but it is going to have to happen.
