Manager Merry-Go-Round
Re: Manager Merry-Go-Round
More to that one than meets the eye I would say. Took them to the play offs but they've said 'results and performances since the turn of the year have fallen short of expectations'. So sack him at the end of the season then, not one game into the new season. Sounds like a poor excuse.
Re: Manager Merry-Go-Round
Probably old news but noticed Moyes talking about how he was competing to be the next Everton manager when we went for Koeman instead and another time he was set to be Everton manager until Ancelotti was sacked a day later.
Don't really see a world where Dyche is sacked next season but interested to see if he waits around for another chance at Everton or he goes straight into another PL job when it opens up. Reckon he could end up at Wolves, Forest, Fulham, Leicester or maybe even Brentford at some point during the season.

Shit style of management that.

Re: Manager Merry-Go-Round
It looks sort of weirdly fake, like he's tried to exaggerate it for the cameras. The way he sort of keeps going, following him and upping the ante when nothing is really happening. Makes him look a knobhead anyway.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

Just another overly intense weirdo that pep has spawned.
To be fair, these are conversations that are normal in the game.
Playing with people who are moaning all the time and have poor body language is very frustrating so I can sympathise with Kompany a bit here.

Yeh but what are you going to get out of them by humiliating them like that, it's like he knew the camera was there so decided to act like a tit. I've never achieved anything in sport or life by doing it that way rather than a private word in the ear
Re: Manager Merry-Go-Round
Yeah we've seen Pep do stuff on the pitch after a match with some of his players which is pretty brutal and doesn't seem very good for moral, thing is he's on of those once in a lifetime personalities where it actually breeds success.TheRam wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 7:15 am Just another overly intense weirdo that pep has spawned.

Stuff like the Arteta pick pocket and this by Kompany just doesn't work for me, trying to be Pep when they aren't him.
