He won't play him there, not dropping Mykolenko:(

Think we might see some slight safety first adjustments from Moyes , Rohl on the right of the front 3 with Ndiaye left and JoB in at right back

He’s not got much choice for centre mid really. Got to go with Hackney, Armstrong , KDH I think

On paper you would think this is a win for us . New manager , they don’t look like they’ve quite clicked yet, they had tons of players at the World Cup and a few new signings to integrate as well

Moyes needs to get off to a good start or the vultures will be circling

That's what I want to see, then stick Johnson and George on after 70 mins to run at tired legs.

That’d be my preference, mainly because I think Ndiaye is better on the left. Definitely Rohl at RB (only for now until we get the proper RB Kinnear has promised us), wouldn’t mind Jake instead of Tarkowski but that’s never going to happen unless there’s an injury.

Lots of people selecting Rohl for RB but how much did he play there in preseason, if at all?

If Moyes wanted him at RB I’m sure he would have played him there preseason.

Played at RB more than anyone else in pre-season. Brief periods of Patterson and JOB but mostly Rohl. Also played him there in the last game before the season starts.

Oh ok. Thanks. The bits I saw mostly featured JOB at RB and Rohl in midfield so I could not understand why everyone was so confident about who would be RB on the opening day.

Yeah JOB hardly played there. He got moved there in one game when Tim went off injured, but I think we'll see much less of that this season.

Also heard Kinnear hint yesterday that JOB has done a decent covering job at RB for 18 months or so, but he wants to play in his main position, so presumably conversations have been had.

Surely if Rohl starts at rb then Jake has to partner branthwaite in the middle don’t see him starting dibling I would but can see Jake at rb Rohl right mid and maybe a surprise return of garner in the midfield

Jake won’t be starting cb at Everton even if Branthwaite is injured.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him go before the end of the window tbh.
