It's the perfect time to sack him. Let a progressive manager come in, rebuild the squad with a footballing identity. Or, we could let a dinosaur load the squad with ageing premier league players then leave us in a massive hole and get relegated, just like he did at West Ham

If rebuilding the squad were that easy, why hasn't Moyes done it? Ageing players or not - and they're not the only players he's looking for.
It's too easy to assume that someone just waltzes in, buys a whole new team and we never look back. Most evidence would tend to suggest we're struggling to spend - paying off Moyes and bringing in someone else (potential compensation?) isn't going to help our financial position.

It for sure is. Its a crisis right now.
We have managed to throw away 60M on Rohl, George and Hackney - and stil no RB, no LB, no Striker and with Garner injured we now need a DM too! Com one - wake up! This team might go down - there is absolutely no individual quality in this team - except a player that wants to leave. The only way to survive is for Moyes to make a "team" out of this drab players.

Since Moyes signed, the average age of the 9 outfielders (including Grealish) at their purchase date, was 22.4 years old.
Whatever part Moyes plays in the transfer process, and irrespective of who he plays at the moment and why, we need to at least be fair here. We arent privy to the recruitment process behind closed doors.
If the club want to, and are successful in only signing promising youth, then he pretty soon either won't have a first 11, or will need to 'play the kids' as that's all he will have. Everton will be a youth-focussed team one way or another. He has said it himself.

To me, £60m on those 3 players is good business.
Rohl is versatile and looks like a decent player with a good engine and the right attributes - also seems like a nice guy which goes far in squad building.
George looks like a proper player who will be in the first team a lot this year. £18m is a bargain for his potential. He will get a chance to shine if N’Diaye goes.
I have great faith that Hackney will be a good signing. From everything I have read and seen of him, he is another good egg and will bolster our midfield options. Decent debut and has an eye for a line breaking pass.
You are right in that we need a RB and there is always more than can and should be done in the market. But the squad isn’t as bad as you think and has experience throughout.

First of all I really do hope that you are right and it must be beautiful to manage to be so positive towards a club that haven't pleased their supporters for over 30 years.
I do not think that Rohl, Hackney and George will ever attract interest from bigger clubs than Everton...George got a lot of qualities that most of our players do not have - but will he create and score goals?
We have no right back, we have the worst left back in the league and no cover for him, we have two aging defenders that is also the slowest in the league that is getting faster every year. We have no defensive midfielders except a young Villa-player we bought for PSR-reasons, we only have McNeil as a winger that Moyes have faith in and up top we have Beto and Barry that might get 8 goals in a season. And what do we have on the bench?
