Re: David Moyes
He’s gonna be stood there with arms crossed on his belly, glaring along the touchline again come first game of the season isn’t he.
Not sure I can stomach the enthusiasm right now to get excited to see that again.
I will though. Like every season. It’s the hope that kills you.

Re: David Moyes
We should go and get Pape Thiaw in. Really enjoy watching the way Senegal play and their intent, they've got some really good players, but they look well coached and set up.
It would also be quality watching him drag us off when we get a load of dodgy VAR decisions

Re: David Moyes
We can always get Glasner in November once Marinakis gets bored with him having not won Forest the Champions League by then.

Re: David Moyes
Showing against Belgium today that he is not tactical astute enough by a mile...Senegal is enjoyable to watch as they have such massive talent in their squad but he should have been able to get so much more out of themRaptor wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 8:32 pm We should go and get Pape Thiaw in. Re: David Moyes
Pre-season Moyes Out shout incoming!
I really feel like he's the wrong fit for this upcoming season. I think even though we were in contention for Europe last season there were issues with how we were playing, players out of position, players just not being played and the home form being pretty awful.
We're possibly going into next season without Ndiaye and Grealish. Dibling and George are there whilst I'm sure the transfer committee would bring in another younger player based on what they've done so far but have we seen anything from Moyes to suggest he can quickly develop these players and trust them to step up to the plate? The defence looks pretty rough all round and do we want a manager that will play Mykolenko every minute or do we want a manager that's going to develop the likes of Aznou? Who knows how much he is a reason for the current RB situation as well if rumours are believed he is blocking certain players coming in.
I think he did a really good job when he come in and in the end last season could have been great but it was just okay. The direction the club seems to be going in with the players we are signing then I don't see why you want or think David Moyes was the man to lead that on the pitch. I don't see what the point of keeping him here for 12 months is just to finish 13th, not develop players and not win a trophy.
I do think he's a good manager but the vibes are terrible at the moment and he's a big part of that. I felt like we were in for a season of midtable boredom but I think there's a chance we might slip into a relegation battle how it feels right now.
