Shocking how most of the US team completely forgot how to control or pass a ball. Pulisic and McKennie did not look like the quality you’d expect from Milan and Juventus. Half the team looked like they had the flu or were playing at altitude or something, awful performance.

There was no coming back the way that team was playing. Not in Belgium’s class.

Also the Dodgers were playing. ;)

Indeed, they’re like if you took the best players from Man City and Real Madrid and made a single team out them.

Thought it was a shame the way the US went out (same as Canada and Mexico to a degree, although the latter was a necessity from an English POV). Both with how they played and all the hoopla around it. The team had relatively speaking enjoyed decent goodwill and had made an impression with a decent amount of the US population and it was nice to have a few weeks where people were kinda interested in talking about the games. Often that's a bit of a rarity and it's more niche.

Surprised how off it they looked though after some pretty at the very least energetic performances. Everything was hesitant and it didn't suit them.

Not sure if it's a stretch to say Belgium are a bit of a dark horse now perhaps, they have some good players and they looked better starting some of the younger players compared to the De Bruyne types who are aging out a bit.

I don't want it to happen for obvious reasons, but how mad would an Egypt Vs Norway semi final be!

That Argentina penalty given feels pretty similar to the Kane one that wasn't.

McCoist " did not look confident". From the offset,

Ok It's Messi mate , picked a corner and the Keeper guessed right . He's average at pens

If they get another penalty yeah if course he's taking it . Only just said he's not confident....
