Got an ominous feeling for the game ,
We haven't had a dodgy call go against us for a while , Lampards no goal , Sol Campbell's disallowed goal, Rooney and Becks sending off , to name a few ...
pessimistic I know but thSts the Everton in me...
Spence isn’t a doubt

He’s on the naughty list for just shrugging and walking away when Tuchel was trying to tell him stuff

If we play sensibly given the altitude and just sit back and break then we should walk through this.

However, if we dominate the ball with slow play we’ll create nothing and be exposed on the break

Who's doing what tonight then?

I've decided that I'm going to try to have a short kip before the game, get up at 1 am, watch the game and then return to bed for a few hours before going to work.

The only thing I haven't worked out is when (if at all) to take my usual sleep meds.

I have the work van at home, which has to be returned tomorrow morning without fail. So pulling a sickie is out of the question.

Tactical nap vs the power through seems to be the battle amongst the natives.

I’am very much a power through guy.

Hoping I’ll be asleep by 4am at the latest. Then I can get up at 9, do a short day and pick the baby up at 3.

Pizza ordered for the Brazil game, few beers then settle for the big one.

Plans will very much be up in the air if there is a delay or extra time, possibly both.

FUCK OFF

US President Donald Trump thanked Fifa for "reversing a great injustice" in a post on Truth Social.

Trump, a friend of Fifa president Gianni Infantino, wrote: "Thank you to Fifa for doing what was right, and reversing a great injustice! President DONALD J. TRUMP."
