I've missed probably 3 games for every game I've watched of this WC so far so I can't really comment on whether it's been good or not. My work pattern is very much out of sync with the kick off times.

Morocco haven’t deserved it, but Canada just haven’t been able to convert their better spells of possession. The first goal was huge as it lead to what came after with Canada having to chase.

Ultimately think this is a different game with Davies and Kone fit.

Had to score early when we were on top and couldn't do it. Once Morocco scored it was always going to be tough with how they counter attack.

Think this round could be a sad one for all the CUM lovers.

Damn, that scoreline is harsh. Much closer than it makes it look.

I was pretty disappointed with Morocco in that tbh. First half against Brazil they showed great attacking intent, but they appear to have reverted to a counter attacking approach. Can't deny it worked today, and I suppose it might work against France too although I think France will win reasonably comfortably. Just was much better to watch when they were pinging the ball around in the oppo half and creating chances that way.

Anyway, looking forward to France v Paraguay in an hour just to see how France do against a team that's going to try to slow everything down and nullify any momentum. Mbappe, Olise et al need to not get frustrated by Paraguay trying every trick in the book to hang on for a 0-0 and pens.

I’d rather play in altitude than 38 degree heat.

Like France have just done again, teams are kicking out of play to the corner from the kick off, more and more, ceading possession for territory, bit like Rugby. So why just from the kick off... why doesnt the keeper or centerback do the same from open play, if its seen as an advantage. Instead they play fron the back to ensure the opposite...possession over territory.

Been pondering that a while.

Roma CM. Kind of box to box from what I've seen previously and the kind of player I'd love at Everton.
