Re: Jordan Pickford
JP's is save of the season. Unreal reactions to get there and then to get a strong enough hand. Exceptional.
Donnarumma's v the Shite when he reacts to the deflection could have won in other seasons. That was a superb save too but not this year.

In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
Re: Jordan Pickford
Thought he was all over place last night. Carrying on his erratic form the last few months of the season.
Re: Jordan Pickford
Yeah, not his best game. I don't think he could have done much about the goals though, even though he got his hand to the first, the pace beat him.

Re: Jordan Pickford
Looked poor coming for crosses, but that's nothing new.
He's obviously important for the way we're trying to play though and his passing was largely good.

Expecting it was first game big occasion nerves and he will have learned that he needs to control himself a bit better. Just a blip.

Re: Jordan Pickford
2 more caps in this World Cup and it will be an all time appearance record for an England player in World Cups, 18

Will be his last tournament I think.
Trafford will either start for city or get a move and become the number one then our fans will become obsessed with him like they did ramsdale.

He’ll have to win the world cup to stop the media noise from getting too deafening

Re: Jordan Pickford
Shearer had a right go at him the petty Newcastle Sunderland stuff should be kept away from international football
Re: Jordan Pickford
Not sure there was ever anything to get obsessed about with Ramsdale, he’s nowhere near Pickford’s level, neither is Pope. Trafford isn’t either at the moment but that’s more due to lack of games, he is certainly Pickford’s closest rival and could well succeed him in the near future.
Pickford hasn’t been great this tournament but at least some of that can be attributed to the defensive shambles he’s got in front of him. Hopefully there won’t be anything resembling a mistake when England do get knocked out or he’ll be the fall guy no matter how shit the defence is in front of him.
