I think there's a case for Gordon against better opposition, especially if O'Reilly is playing LB.

Against weaker opposition who low block and condense space then you need that extra something that Rashford can produce.

Just need to pick the right players for the right matches and it feels Tuchel got it wrong yesterday. Not aimed at scotland in particular but the whole thing is a bit ridiculous when you get potentially get through by beating 1 god awful team and losing the other 2 games. The 3rd place qualifiers takes much of the excitement of the groups away.
