I feel this scenario I posted a month ago is very likely to come true now. (Exvept the Forest bit, they have had some great results)Robioto wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2026 11:40 am I think they'll stay up against us on the last day. I know form shows they won't pick up points and they look down and out, but football is rarely predictable and I'm convinced they'll pick up more points than people are generally predicting.
I think it will go down to the wire between Forest, West Ham and Spurs, but they will find it when they need it most.
I hope I'm wrong though as I'd absolutely revel in them being relegated, especially as three of my close mates are fans.

.
Things aren't falling for West Ham but you do think there's still a chance for them. Who knows what Chelsea side will show up but under the lights to put Spurs in a relegation position would be something they'd turn up for you'd think. Who knows how the FA Cup outcome will play into that. If they lose it then they'll need to beat Spurs and Sunderland for Europe next season.
No doubt in my mind Newcastle is a must win game for West Ham though. They can't go into that last match in the relegation zone. A draw would still give them a glimmer of hope if Chelsea won but even then... It's Everton. You never want to depend on Everton for anything.

Spurs' pathway has really been very kind and somehow they're still in the mix. Even the next one against Chelsea is on Tuesday after Chelsea (who are already in poor form) play essentially their biggest game of the season on Saturday. So they only really have two days to prepare and play again.
If West Ham can't get anything from Newcastle, Spurs only really need a point too given their goal difference.
