Re: Arsenal v Everton
Daft mistakes cost us and poor subs cost us.
Played pretty well for a lot of the game sadly too to be spoiled late on. Hope we can get Tim on a new deal as I like him as an option in the middle.
Really, really hating that Armstrong sub again though. Yet again it doesn't make us any more solid and also chasing the game we’re left with no creativity on that side. Just play one of the 2 wingers we have please.

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Just would have been great to get a point there.
That would have been a huge bonus on what we need for europe.
Can’t fault anything though. We could have even won that.
Mistakes happen and if anyone was due a big one it’s pickford.

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Did Dowman rip past 7 players and smash it in the top corner from 30 yards out because social media is making it sound like that happened?
Re: Arsenal v Everton
Spot on. Pickford gets an extra digit on that and it doesn't land in their lap to be passed into the net. We played very very well. Can't let the result shade that.
Re: Arsenal v Everton
Disappointing result after a good performance, Arsenal have done that all season unfortunately for us. Not really any bad performances so a lot to take from it
Re: Arsenal v Everton
Think that was Ndiaye against Sunderland earlier this season.
To be fair they've got to have someone to talk about. They did nothing else.

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Bit unlucky there, we made mistakes that cost us and didnt punish their mistakes and I cant fault our efforts.
On to the next.
On to the next.
Re: Arsenal v Everton
Proper gutting defeat that, especially hard to take with Alan Smith creaming his pants and them desperately trying to make an iconic moment out of Dowman's goal.
Think that's the most upset I've been after a defeat all season, just felt so harsh after we'd done everything right for so long.

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Played really well first half , and nearly saw it out. Gutted the way it ended. Not all doom and gloom .....

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Scooped up a loose ball near the halfway line after Pickford went up for the corner, got a bit of a ricochet on the last defender and just ran to an empty net.
So - no.
Re: Arsenal v Everton
Don't let it.
It was only that we were so good and we got so close that is extra disappointing.
Re: Arsenal v Everton
Really good performance, a rare Pickford blinder away from a point (2nd goal wouldn't have happened if we hadn't conceded already).
Even had some good attacking moments in the first half, unlucky not to have been 1-0 up.
Hard to sustain that over a full 90 so was always going to be a drop off second half, but even then we looked comfortable until the 89th minute.
Second goal doesn't bother me, the whistle was going after that corner so losing 1-0 or 2-0 is inconsequential.

Re: Arsenal v Everton
