It wasn’t just JOB the whole back 4 were at fault….4 centre halves in play and no one covering the centre of the box….branthwaite got beat on the left went past Keane (out of position) step over sold tarks because he was off his man…Obrien allowed the scorer to be in front of him so he was out of position…..it was poor defensively as a whole

Probably much of a muchness at this point against Keane. I don't think Keane is considerably better, or a particularly good partnership with Tarkowski, so it's probably worth playing Jake over him.

Obviously Tarkowski-Branthwaite is the best partnership we have at the back. I thought Branthwaite-JOB looked a bit sloppy at the end of last season.
I think Tarkowski has had a higher level, but we’re seeing that come down now.
O’Brien is currently at a lower level, but on the rise.

I agree best pairing today is Tarkowski and Branthwaite, but we should be actively phasing O’Brien into Tarkowski’s slot, because there’s not a huge amount in it and that gap is getting smaller every week.

We’re just prepping him for Ireland at the end of March, no need to peak and break him too soon!

You’re probably right, but think we might get a surprise with Ndaiye moving back to the right and Georgie boy left.
