No reason to not believe Andy Hunter on this. He's a good journo reporting for a respected outlet. The figure will of corse be tied to classes, most likely such things as Europe qualification, relegation etc. It's a superb deal really, and as mentioned by someone else, money for nothing.

Also most sponsor names sound rubbish when they are announced, apart from the very biggest brands with the biggest name recognition, and then they just become a normal part of the language very quickly.
