Today's Football 2024-25
Re: Today's Football 2024-25
Arsenal need Rice to run with the ball more directly, only time they have got any joy really.
Re: Today's Football 2024-25
PSG have been excellent. Kvara and Mendes have kept Saka out the game.
Arsenal have tried to pass it through them all night and got absolutely nowhere. Nobody willing to have a go properly. Very risk-adverse approach to the match.

Even in injury time they were just passing it side-aways. Should have taken something from the way Villa smashed PSG in the second half last match.
Re: Today's Football 2024-25
Arsenal barely laid a glove on PSG. Two one on ones and that was pretty much it. Possibly it will suit Arsenal better to be the away team but I think this PSG team really believe in themselves and that this is their time.
They are so impressive compared to the super-star teams that came before. All working hard and all contributing.

Dean Lewington set to retire at weekend
Actually played for Wimbledon before they became MK Dons he’s been around that long!

Mental that. Holds the record for most appearances at one club.Cereal Killer wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 6:37 am Dean Lewington set to retire at weekend

See Evanilson's red card overturned.
Who would have thought that would happen?.
It's terrifying that these clowns can't see it for what it blatently was, a slip by a player trying to make a tackle.
No malice, no intent and no harm done, yet worthy of a red card.
And if anyone from Webb's mob come out and say justice was done in the end, no it wasn't, Bournemouth lost 2 points because of their incompetence.

Yeah i'm the same liz.
Anyone can see what really happened.
To me it's inexplicable how they come to the decision that they did

I hate that that club holds that record. I'm in agreement with When Saturday Comes whose 92 team preview is always only 91 as they still refuse to acknowledge MK Dons' existence.
Them v AFC Wimbledon is a game I always watch if it's on telly. It has a significance that very very few lower league EFL games do.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

This is genuinely the greatest opening 25 minutes of any football game ever.
Amazing stuff going on.
