Re: Tyler Dibling

I’m not sure what it is that’s the cause but he just seems way way off being ready to play at this level. If he came through our youth ranks then I have no doubt he’d be on loan somewhere. Hopefully he just needs a season and summer to settle in but I just have a feeling we won’t see the best of him...

Re: January Transfer Window

I think the bad blood was just between Digne and Rafa wasn’t it? And virtually the entire fanbase was on Dignes side and cheered him that first game when Villa came to Goodison just after Rafa had been sacked I’d definitely take him but I don’t think there’s anything in the rumour Didn’t head get p...

Re: Tim Iroegbunam

Giving him a contract on slightly improved wages is much less of a risk than selling him for less than 10m by quite a lot. We can still sell him for around that in a years time. Plenty of teams will take a chance on a 23 year old with his level of promise for that fee. If we can’t sign a player and ...

Re: January Transfer Window

Surely there’s too much bad blood for Digne to come back?

Objectively though he’s much better than Mykolenko even at his age and every signing doesn’t have to be a ‘young promising talent’. Some experienced older players are essential. The finances probably don’t work also though.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam

He’s shown excellent promise as an 8 but has been diabolical as a 6. Gana was poor in the 6 during his first spell with us but has gotten significantly better over the years. Tim’s only 22 and many on here were calling Garner rubbish 2 seasons ago when he was 22. It would be absolutely nuts to sell ...

Re: Youssef En-Nesyri

Skeptical about this one. Loan with option is ok though. I’m not bothered about him being 28 because he could play for another 6 years and 26-34 are the prime years for most players. Tosuns highlight reel is pretty good too so I wouldn’t be surprised if he flopped here. Similarly, he seems on the Yo...

Re: Match Ticket Requests/Spares Thread

A friend is looking for two tickets to the spurs game if anyone has any spare. He’s got a fan account to make the transfer. Thanks for any help :)

Re: Thierno Barry

He played well as a bit part player for a team that finished 5th in their league, where teams predominantly play technical passing football. Villareal are better than us. He’s still raw obviously but Grealish, KDH, and Ndiaye have not made us well balanced passing team. We can’t really stretch teams...

Re: Tyler Dibling

I was a bit disappointed by his performance as he seems a few seasons off really challenging for the starting RW slot. You can see the talent we’ve paid for in the few flashes of brilliance but his defending, determination, and decision making are all very poor atm. I think it’ll be worth the wait a...
